Robbers Steal Hundred In Gift Cards From Dollar Store: PA State Police

Two men distracted a store clerk and loaded hundreds of dollars onto gift cards, authorities say.

The two men pictured stole the gift cards and put $500 in them at the Family Dollar located at 3835 Lincoln Way West, Saint Thomas Township, Chambersburg at 3:24 p.m. on May 3, 2023, according to The Pennsylvania State Police Troop H – Chambersburg Station.

The clerk was supposedly "distracted" during this incident, the police said, but did not detail how.

The suspects then fled in a silver-colored SUV, according to Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers.

A cash reward of an unknown amount is being offered for information leading to the men's capture, the Crime Stoppers said.
